The Workshops

The first half of each class is used to warm up the voice. We cover breathing exercises and ensure each student understands how to breathe correctly, as breath control is the fundamental ingredient to building a good vocal technique. We then begin to work on vocal exercises and scales, using a set of exercises which are designed to strengthen the voice in an easy to understand way.

In the second half of the lesson, we begin to work on the individual songs. Each student chooses a song to sing based on the current theme. The student will sing through their song uninterrupted with pianist. We will then break the song down and work areas in need of attention. This is a great way to really understand the lyric, and your interpretation of the song you have chosen..

Private Tuition

One to one, private tuition is available to those who are more serious about getting the most out of their technique.

The lesson is with you, Vinny Mann (leading vocal coach) and a pianist, to help you get the most out of each session and ensure your individual needs are catered for.

You will hear results straight away.

All private students can benefit by performing at the studiosingers end of term show. A chance to perform and showcase your talent, and a fun way to end each season, giving each student something to work towards.
